Yui Higashibata 1974-

Born in Kyoto. Raised in the family engaging in lacqure work, he majored in design at Kyoto Institute of Technology. He is based on the traditional skills of lacqure and challenging new production. As he also works in the field of architecture and design, he explore another various potential of lacqure.
