New gallery space "Biena Art Space" coordinated by Sekisui House, LTD will open on April 27 (Sat) in the first floor of Sekisui House Shuibuya viewing room Biena Aoyama Collection.
It is an experimental exhibition space creating combining a housing exhibiiton plaza and new communication space generating new culture.
Solo exhibitions and regular exhibitions will be coordinated by Art Front Gallery to introduce new artists and open the possibility for art to communicate with new audience.
As an opening exhibition of the space, Jaume Amigo exhibition will be presented.

Setouchi Triennale 2013

Summer: Jul. 20 - Sept. 1

Setouchi Triennale 2013 will be held in 3 sessions so that you can enjoy
the charms of the area’s changing seasons.

Though the Spring Session is already closed on April 20, many artworks are still available to see especially on weekends.

Summer Session will be starting from July 20 to September 1, with some new works such as project by Oscar Oiwa opening at Ibuki Island.

CCC AWARDS Grand Prize

Bunpei Kado Recieved the grad prize

Culture Convenience Culb Co., Ltd. (CCC) organized "Art in the office 2012 CCC AWARDS", open call for artwork proposal last November, 2012. This project aims for selecting great three dimensional works from young established artists, and exhibiting the selected works at the CCC's new office (community space ) for a year. At the screening in the beginning of last December, 8 out of 200 plans were selected.

Bunpei Kado was selected as a grand prize winner.
The artist will be showing his installation at Ogi Island as a part of Setouchi Art Triennale starting from March 20. http://setouchi-artfest.jp/en/
Bunpei Kado exhibition is scheduled to be held at Art Front Gallery in July 2013.
