Michiko Nakatani1981 -
Received VOCA encouragement award in 2010. Completed Meisterschülerstudium at Academy of Fine Arts Dresden in 2012. The artist has presented negative reliefs made of synthetic resing poured into gypsum. In order to explore "how the image to be", she presents respective artworks with consideration to their consistencies and relationality in a space. She moved to a house in Mie where her grand father once lived since 2014 and has been running a project to exhibit artwork only on the respect of the aged day in the renovated space of a factory.
