2017 Curated exhibition "Tadashi Kawamata - Crossroads" at Kiyotsu Soko Museum

Art Front Gallery is pleased to announce a special exhibition "Tadashi Kawamata -Crossroad" in Kiyotsu Warehouse Museum in Niigata.
Tadashi Kawamata is a leading artist of today especially noted for his installation inspired by the given space. He plans and improvises on the site, exploring the meaning of the work in the historical and social context, often involving people voluntarily working for the projects. So far, there have been few occasions to see the process of his major works realized in oversea countries. The exhibit will include maquettes, drawings and large photos of wide ranged projects, and we hope that audience will experience the essence of Kawamata world in the renovated Kiyotsu Warehouse Museum.
