Saeko Kuwana: Editable Region / In the Room

8/24～9/9 Art Front Gallery will present solo exhibition of Saeko Kuwana, entitled "Editable Region / In the Room". To read them, go back to Gallery Top Page and click dialogue icon on the right bottom section. Saeko Kuwana is a young contemporary artist who uses ceramic as her main expression material. Even though she studied sculpture in university, but she found interesting deeply in ceramic afterwards. We normally have a domestic image about ceramic, but the artist brings new and original possibilities on the material like creating a large scale ceramic installation. For this exhibition “Editable Region / In the Room”, we got an essay entitled “Talkative Pantomime” from Motoaki Hori, Chief Curator, Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, Tokyo. This essay is printed in this exhibition leaflet, and visitors can take it at the gallery. Kuwana's other works can be exhibited at Ohshima Fine Art. This solo exhibition will start from Sep. 1 (sat) to 22(sat).

Echigo Tsumari Art Triennale 2012

Oiwa’s been showing internationally in Brazil, New York, Tokyo and London. He is currently a professor in San Paulo University. This first solo exhibition in Korea is planned by Keumsan Gallery and Art Front Gallery. This exhibition is proudly held with selections of Oscar’s new paintings. Setouchi Triennale 2013

Kado・Yoshida　selected Kana Yoshida, who is having a solo exhibition at Art Front Gallery next year, and Bunpei Kado, who presented solo exhibitions successfully in this spring at the gallery, were selected from entry call for participating in Setouchi Triennale 2013. Setouchi Triennale 2013 is a contemporary art festival located in various islands of the Seto Inland Sea. It is held in every 3 years, first in 2010 and it attached a huge response from hundreds of thousands of visitors. The name of Setouchi Triennale 2013 is now one of internationally well-known art festival. Setouchi Triennale 2013 is planning to be hold in spring, summer and autumn.
